Leaderboards
A leaderboard is a private group tied to one competition (for example Champions League 2024/25). You can:
- Create your own leaderboard and invite friends by sharing the link.
- Join an existing leaderboard created by someone else.
- Belong to several leaderboards across different competitions at the same time.
- Each leaderboard has its own standings — your score in one doesn't affect another.
Making predictions
For every match you enter the exact scoreline you expect. The result — home win, draw or away win — is worked out from the score you entered, so there is nothing else to pick.
Scoring
Points are awarded per match, based on how close your scoreline was:
Knockout matches score on exactly the same scale. The one twist: a knockout cannot end level, so if you enter a draw you also pick which team advances. A decisive scoreline reads the winner straight off the score, just like a league match.
The draw twist. Enter a level score and you are asked which team advances — you never predict the shootout score itself. If a team wins in normal or extra time, a draw prediction scores 0. Actual result 2–2, Home advance on penalties:
Captain pick
One per roundFor each matchday (or stage in knockouts) you can nominate one match as your captain. Every point you earn on that match is doubled.
You can move your captain to a different unlocked match any time before the round closes. Once a match kicks off, the captain on it is final.
Tiebreakers
Goal difference breaks ties when two players are level on points. Every time you get a result right, that match’s goal margin is added to your goal difference. Wrong picks add nothing.
The monthly leaderboard on the Stats page adds one more tiebreaker — all-time points — so two players level on the month are split by their overall standing.
Competition winner pick
Before picks close you can choose which team you think wins the whole competition. Get it right and a bonus is added to your leaderboard total once the competition ends.
- ⏰Predict before the deadline — everything locks when the first match of the round kicks off.
- 🎯A near miss still pays: the right goal difference is worth 4, and the right result 3.
- ⭐Save your captain for the match you feel surest about — it doubles whatever you score.
- 🏆Don't forget the competition winner pick — it can add a big boost at the end of the season.
